The following are permanent links to relevant biomedical software resources, web-accessible for easy access. All of these files are also available on backup hard drives in the laboratory.

LAS AF Lite – the free version of Leica’s confocal suite
ftp://ftp.llt.de/softlib/LAS_AF_Lite/

Scott’s ImageJ – with plugins I wrote for confocal microscope analysis and automation:
ImageJ_Scott_LITE.zip
Scott’s version of ImageJ has an extra toolbar.
Launch it with Plugins > SCOTTBAR > Common Tools:
scottbar

This version of ImageJ requires the Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
http://www.java.com/en/download/

I am also including a web version of my Rodent Heart Dissection Tutorial in picture format.

Biomedical Computing – Photoshop – Chart Editing Example

This screen capture video is presented as a tool to expose biomedical laboratory workers to the workflow of Photoshop (CS3).

Biomedical Computing – ImageJ – Scripting Example

This screen capture video is presented as a tool to expose biomedical laboratory workers to the workflow of ImageJ (with Scott’s collection of scripts/plugins).

Biomedical Computing – Heart Rate Variability with Chart 5

This screen capture video is presented as a tool to expose biomedical laboratory workers to the workflow of Chart 5 with the HRV module to calculate heart rate variability from ECG or PAP recordings.

Biomedical Computing – ImageJ – Automatic generation of thumbnails

This screen capture video is presented as a tool to expose biomedical laboratory workers to the workflow of ImageJ (with Scott’s collection of scripts/plugins).
