I have exactly one week of summer before summer school starts. I decided to pick up at the last minute and go to the beach for a few days. The irony of it all is that I’m wardriving every few hours to find a wireless netowork to hack on to so I can do stupid things like IM people and update my website =o) I’ll write a nice blog and post it soon. I hope you’re having a good day, I surely am. test. If I don’t get to post while I’m here, then I’ll just go on and let you know I’m planning to get back Saturday night. Have a good one! –Scott

Hey girls (that is, Summer and Supergirl)! :-)

I’m glad at least you two appreciated my effort. ;-) I consider it a burden I must bear to keep this place alive. ;-) :-D ;-)

Supergirl –

sometimes, but not always. ;o)

Summer: do you ever come on here to look for old posts

and Nikki thank you for being so kind and updating the pots section. lol

Summer wrote the following at 11:42:01 PM on May 4th, 2004

Hey, that is wonderful! :o ) Actually, I came on here specifically looking for new comments…so you know you made at least one person happy!

Nikki wrote the following at 10:00:17 PM on May 4th, 2004

…is FOUR new comments!! :-)

Nikki wrote the following at 09:59:21 PM on May 4th, 2004

And my last thought was this:

The only thing better than a new comment…

Nikki wrote the following at 09:58:21 PM on May 4th, 2004

Then I thought, “If *I* come and look for new comments, and am disappointed when there aren’t any, then maybe OTHER people do, too! I should leave a comment so they won’t have to be disappointed like I was!”

Nikki wrote the following at 09:57:05 PM on May 4th, 2004

Sometimes I get disappointed if I come to the site and no one has made any new comments since I last checked…

Money doesn’t make you happy.
It’s the things you *buy* that make you happy ^^

People say that money is the world’s curse…
Well may God smite me with it and may I never recover!!

As an aside, I guess I’m not going to be added to the KLP buddy list, am I? :o (

I WISH I was an only child…and thats really all I have to say on that.

I have to admit, I’m baffled and completely stumped when I ask myself “what is it people see in me?â€Â
^ I’m baffled and completely stumped too, Scott!

I’m sorry I read that sentence and I had to do it. It’s mean but I’m posting anyway :-)

KawaiiAyu -

don’t worry about it! :o ) I know many people who know lots of spoiled brats who are only children. Although it stands to say that anyone who never had to lift a finger throughout their young lives and on top of it does not know how to share what they have is in for one rude awakening when they reach maturity.

I live in a wealthy beach town near Atlantic City, and I see a lot of the behavior you described from teenagers I know. My friends ask me why I work when my parents make enough money for me not to have to, why I chose an older used car as my first car instead of the brand-new convertibles or luxury vehicles they chose, why I’m not seeking to attend the most expensive and prestigious college available “just because”…ugh. The worst offender is my ex-best friend who thinks she is a Mafia princess because she’s Italian and her father owns a contracting business. Money can delude beyond your wildest dreams…

Summer:

Im sorry I didnt mean to stereotype. Most only children are perfectly fine and nice and everything, and yes a lot of people with siblings turn out like jerks too. I just see it happen alot with only children. A live in the suburbs of Detroit (Livonia to be exact) and there are A LOT of spoiled little brats around here. We arent rich in Livonia, but were pretty well off. I see a lot of only children who get everything they want from their parents around here, and since they didnt grow up with siblings, they don’t know how to share their great wealth. And they grow up to continue to be like that. ANd they think they can still get everything they want. Im still waiting for Ashley to get her real-life slap in the face. Shes so extreamly spoiled it makes me sick. And shes such a b**** about it too.

Sorry about the stereotype, shes just very much a stereotypical only child in an upper middle class suburb. Yeah lol.

do I make them myself? Well, yes and no. I’ll spend hours searching around new posts on http://www.deviantart.com (literally, many hours) and I love finding black and white sketches and coloring them so they’re not really mine but I did add to them… like the washing machine one, for example.

In case you’re interested, here’s the “before” pic:

Often times there are images in your blogs, and i’ve come to like prettymuch all of them. Where do you get them from? Did you make them yourself? Spill it!

Tis erinn, your right.. o.0.. ok

Scott? Work till he FINISHES something?? Ha! :-) What does he really FINISH? He starts a lot of cool projects, sure…but FINISH them? (I’m still waiting for the new “About Scott” page, by the way!!) ;-) :-D

Discalimer: I’m just some random girl who lives f-a-r away, and don’t in any way claim to really KNOW Scott, so no matter who you are, please don’t be offended by the above paragraph. :-)

Vociesshutup: (that looks funny to type–is your real name, umm…Erinn? Or am I just completely nuts?) I totally know what you’re talking about!! :-) I just have one sibling, and I always felt SO out of place in any home school setting. ;-)

Finally: some people COULD go wrong by just being themselves… :-) :-)

ha ha Black Don, I am nothing like your bother. *HE* is motivated and driven. I just “do crap” to get it out of the way. The reason I go to the library to study is because if I try to do it at home, I’m so unmotivated and unfocoused that I can’t get it done. I have to MAKE myself go to the library and spend however many hours it takes there to get my stuff done. Part of what I was saying in the blog is that these little details (holes) are filled in (subconcously) with qualities (ethics) that you most respect (admire?) and thus, I become (in your mind) someone I simply am not ^_^

The Black Don wrote the following at 11:30:36 AM on May 3rd, 2004

I can definately understand selfish people with lots of syblings. I got three, and I wish I could just get away. They drive me up the wall. They’re not bad or anything, but its like the old saying “familiarity breeds contempt” Anyways, I can see how is easy to be selfish with brothers and sisters.

Man, I can see how people idolize you too. I envy your work ethic and focus to a great exteant. I can’t get crap done. Your like my brother, just driven. If you latch into something you’ll work on it till you finish it. Anywyas thats it for me.

PEACE OUT

I’m an only child too. Which always makes it EXTREMELY weird in the ‘homeschooled world’. Cause like, every family has at least 5 kids! And then theres me. I can’t imagine having a sibling. I’d probably end up strangling them if it was an annoying lil kid or someting.. but who knows?

Loner people are cool. But kinda difficult for us ‘non loners’. Say theres a kid, who I find extremely funny, and all around cool. But is a loner. Try to get them to do something, and its a no, try to hang out, no.. It kinda makes the other person feel weird. At least, thats how I feel.

When are finals over for you?

Summer wrote the following at 11:36:22 PM on May 2nd, 2004

Mmm…grapefruit, apple, and grape juice.

Being an only child, I resent the possibility of an “only child type”, possibly because I am not one. I welcome everybody’s opinion on things. I relish them, in fact…different viewpoints are so refreshing. It may say something, though, that the people I’ve known who have serious selfishness/other issues have had a decent amount of siblings…:o)

scott wrote the following at 07:03:13 PM on May 2nd, 2004

Laura, I’m so disappointed in you. Apple juice? Seriously, I didn’t think you went *that* low Laura. Everyone knows grapefruit juice is better for you with more vitamins and minerals, and it tastes much better. Apple juice is bland, watery, and conspitating.

KawaiiAyu wrote the following at 06:58:36 PM on May 2nd, 2004

Yay I feel so special lol ^^ No problemo Scotty.

Im surprised you even remember how we met! You forget everything else I tell you (and the fact that you used to host me :P ). Bravo bravo.

Also when you mentioned the arguing thing to me earlier, I forgot about this. My friend Ashley (on and off best friend basically), is one of those spoiled only child types. Also, when she has an opinion, she HAS to be right, or else. You try to disagree with her, you’ll get an earful. It woald always bug me. Once she was in a grape juice kick and shew as drinking some at lunch. She was like mmm i love grape juice its the best. ANd I was like eh I prefer apple myself, and shes was all roar about it like WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY GRAPE IS SO THE BEST WHATS WRONG WITH YOU OMG YOURE SO STUPID. Shell get so furious about it ugh. Cant say anything around that girl without her freaking out about it. Not to mention that she freaks over me being a picky eater. Just the other day she was freaking out over the fact that i dont eat red meat. Its not that i just ‘dont like it, it makes me sick, its not my fault. SHe still has to freak over it. Ashley has many things she lives by, and one is, “Im always right, and dont get in my way and disagree, or else” Oi…

Thanks for pointing out the special stuff you added to the picture. You make me laugh.

I’ve been trying to dress like you, but I just can’t fit into shoes that small. What should I do? Also, I find myself in trouble when I mimick your awkward grin. You should act more normal so I can act normal and still be acting like you.

good for you…don’t pick up too many chicks on the beach though, you heartbreak (i’ve seen you @ vcc)
