oh jeez Scott, another new look?

yeah well… I couldn’t help myself. My excuse? All the good layouts went on vacation. I don’t care though. Since all the fancy ones left, my site got a chance to slip into something a little more comfortable. We’ll see how all that goes. Yeah, so, dangit. I couldn’t think of what picture to post for tonight, so I just googled randomly for one. By randomly, I mean I copy/pasted some japanese text characters (that I have no idea what they meant) and pasted them in google along with the word “blog”. I got 10000s of Japanese blogs, and some of them were really fun to read. Well, ok, I couldn’t read them, but I skimmed over them. Some of the pics were great! And I commented on at least 100 blogs ^_^ Poor Japanese teenagers’re gonna have to practice their English with the posts I made. Yeah, I know, I’m horrible. I used the hardest English words I could think of to post with XD But I’m sure they’ll be able to figure it out. Ok, anyway, yeah, shoot. I can’t blog tonight. Not enough time. I need to get to sleep /sigh/ I guess I’ll just leave this little tidbit of a blog up for today’s post and just let everyone flame-up the comment board about how much the new layout stinks etc etc… goodnight everyone =o)

DNS SETTINGS HAVEN’T EVEN REACHED MT OWN ISP YET! VAHHHHH! MY SITE WORKS FOR EVERYONE BUT ME -_- I CAN’T POST (CORRECTLY) UNTIL IT WORKS

Nikki wrote the following at 07:39:12 PM on December 6th, 2003

Very correct are you, Nick. Quite right. :-D

Nick wrote the following at 05:48:14 PM on December 6th, 2003

ok scott, its about time for an update, don’t you think? i’ve waited long enough for your site to be working correctly….

spinflip wrote the following at 06:08:34 AM on December 5th, 2003

Why do the comments scroll backwards? I have always wondered that. Also, I like how the comments screen opens in a new _resizeable_ window! From what I remember last time this window was not sizeable.

You know Scott is hot :P :D Hehe I just had to say it

scott wrote the following at 12:04:57 AM on December 3rd, 2003

/high fives Nick/ (he’s right, ya’ know)

Nick wrote the following at 10:41:00 PM on December 2nd, 2003

in case you missed what he said, hes working from defaults…i think e-mail is a default requirement….

yeah, you know I’m right

SCOTT YOUR SITE IS HOT…yeah, im sucking up big time.

Mitchell wrote the following at 10:32:28 PM on December 2nd, 2003

I like how you reversed the way the comments go, and unlike Tall John, I like how it opens up in the same way. Anchor targets are not in the xhtml strict doctype most likely because it’s annoying to not have full control in the browser. Of course in Mozilla there’s a setting, but whatever.

P.S. Why do you require an e-mail address now. By the way, this isn’t my real one (yeah, I own example.com) just to show spite for this. -)

phil: nice catch. I didn’t notice that. I’ll be sure to change it when I get a chance… It’s currently GMT

scott wrote the following at 12:19:20 PM on December 2nd, 2003

tall jon. this whole blog area is currently being developed. the one right now is the default. I’m working (slowly, but surely) to rever back to the cool text positions, double spacing, nice text, colors, popup windows, etc etc etc…

I’m currently researching different methods of making some nice floating text that overlaps well on all browsers… oh the fun of making everything compatable with everything.

Phil wrote the following at 11:33:35 AM on December 2nd, 2003

lol Jon

I’m actually talking about the time on your site. The one on the top right?

P.S. I guess I’ll see you today at the break and I’ve got the PC in my car.

Tall Jon wrote the following at 10:53:39 AM on December 2nd, 2003

u know, this link opened in the same window…might wanna give it a _blank in the a href tag. Wow…i sounded technical like scott~!!?!?!?

scott wrote the following at 07:43:55 AM on December 2nd, 2003

actually, the problem was the new server is set to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and therefore the +0500 hours was incorrect. ps: all the cool stuff is set to GMT these days =oD

sidenote: this server is in NY, not CA

scott wrote the following at 07:41:35 AM on December 2nd, 2003

testing time

Phil wrote the following at 01:14:40 AM on December 2nd, 2003

Hey Scott, you might wanna change your time clock to +0500. It seems their server is on the west coast and thus 5 hours behind us. X_x Peace…

Candy wrote the following at 07:02:45 AM on December 1st, 2003

Hehe cool scott. I got some people to host my site too :D . I’m happy with that. I feel bad for you with all that code to change >

Nick wrote the following at 04:39:59 PM on December 11th, 2003

yeah…its blue…

ok, w/e its your site, let it crash and burn as you so choose, err, i mean flourish with many new visitors who admire your taste in color. Its ok overall, but i still like’d the old layout.

and why post a pic of a cat? everybody does and we already know that they’re cute, unless you like to drown kittens (those sick f*cks, we ought to kill them)

good luck with the layout, i say it lasts 2.5 days before it changes again.
