today was pretty cool

I’ll start off talking about this picture. Lots of people are IMing me lately (mainly in reference to AimPoo, and some to my website). If someone comes up and politely asks for help or asks a question, I would be more than happy to help them out of the goodness of my heart. However, if you come to me and demand help with your problem in an arrogant way, you should expect to be ignored -_- The picture on the left is supposed to be me (yeah, I know, I ripped it. bad). As you can see, it’s in my room, and using my computers. It sorta looks like me. Someone informed me the hair color is horrible. Oh well, I’m colorblind. It looks great to me XD

It still suprises me, the attitudes of some people. Gawh. It’s like, do they actually expect me to want to help them when all they do is whine and say mean things about me and my software? The worst IMs are the ones I get that have nothing but insults about my software and my website(s). I mean, I’m writing this software for fun. I’m writing it with my own time. I’m giving it away for free just for kicks. How do people think they have some right to condemn me for it?! They think I somehow owe it to them to do things for them. grawh. Ok, I’m done flame-ranting. Now to talk about the cool day I had =o)

This morning I spent a few hours writing AimPoo. I finished a new version, beta 4.2 It’s coming along slowly, in little steps. Nothing too big so far. Beta 4.2 fixed a lot of 4.1 bugs that caused it to crash randomly after it ran for several hours. The reason it would crash is because the incoming delayed packets, if arriving at the exact instant as another one, would both try to write to the colored console at the same time. Unfortunately, the current syntax highlighting I was using wasn’t perfect in the sense that if it tried to write twice at the same time, it’d crash the program. So, problems diagnosed and fixed; aimpoo beta 4.2 is great. I added-in some other features, like better error logging and management, and an awesome little mini-browser that’ll make it super-easy to inform AimPoo users about updates and news. I also plan to make it be able to give feedback about the software, so I’ll be able to get some tips from it. Anyway, that’s the updated status on AimPoo

I met two very nice people today =o) In the early afternoon I met a man I’ll refer to as “V”. This is a man with whom I plan to be speaking with a lot over the next few weeks. He expressed an interest in contributing to the AimPoo project. He was one of the nicest guys I ever spoke with on IM, which is a rarity these days. He has some great talent when it comes to drawing. Our actual plans are going to be kept somewhat secret until “the plans unfold”, but I look forward to the future days I can spend working with him and Zero. If you’re reading this V, welcome to the development team of AimPoo!

The other nice person I met about an hour ago… It was a girl whose blog I’ve been reading for a week or two. For those of you who haven’t read my earlier post about the subject, I read lots of strangers’ blogs. I try to find blogs that have a really original writing style (the kind where, if asked, the authors would say “I didn’t know I had a writing style”). It’s this realness that makes peoples’ blogs so fascinating to read. You can really connect with some people and quickly and easialy tell wha they’re thinking and trying to say. Whereas, my blogs, on the other hand, are long and redundantly boring X_x I try to fix that by readind some I think are interesting. ANYWAY, I finally decided to send her an IM today. I was really reluctant to, I feel really stupid saying things like “hi i’ve read your blog for a week and analized it, and you have no idea who I am”, but I decided to bite the bullet and just say a hello =o) Thankfully, she was niced, and didn’t assume I was a stalker, and we talked for a while. She was nice and pretty interesting to talk with. Thus, the second person on my list of “interesting people I met today”.

I think I’m going to rewrite my ‘about scott page’. Both of the people I met today glanced at it, and one of them seemed to really read it. I think it gives some bad signals and notions about who I am, and says things that aren’t generally taken the right way. Then again /sigh/ I don’t know how to change it. I’m not sure what I’m going to do, but I do think I’m going to change my picture. The one with me in the middle of the four Asian girls is cool because it was from China, but all the non-Asian girls I talk to get frustrated because they think I like only Asian women, and the Asian girls I talk to probably think I’m a scumbag for talking to them X_x I can’t win! Oh the humanity! I just had to let that out… I’ve started thinking about it lately, and then tonight I was yet again reminded of it. I don’t know why it embarrasses me to much… ^_^;;;

my website is about to change… What? What is it Scott?! You’re not going to REALLY change your website are you? What’re you going to change about it?! The colors? The pictures? The text? The blog? The layout? Scott you’re not going to abandon your old website are you? You’re not going to abandon your old friends? Everything you’ve ever cared for? You know, I’m always here if you want to talk Scott… If you have something really big that’s going to happen, you can’t keep it a secret!

watch me.

mtcx, no, it didn’t show “anything like that”. But it is somewhat of a letdown sitting down getting ready to watch a sweet boy/girl love story and slowly discovering it’s about some old gay teacher professing his love to some young gay student. /shrug/

I want my money back.
err, I downloaded it.
I got less than I paid for.

I remember that part in the movie! The demons were coming and they hid in that warehouse or hanger or whatever and then she gave the old lady the gun and the old lady thought it was for her defense against the demons but then the girl told her you can’t kill the demons with the gun implying it was meant for the old lady to kill herself in case the demons overpowered the girl. It was sweet.

Run-on sentences rock!

You should make a key to all the little faces you use, because I know that I have wondered, too. :-D Look! mtcx is below me…

Yeah, smiley faces would be helpful. The only one that I definitely know the meaning of is ^_^. I know I asked you what =op meant a long time ago, but I forgot. That movie doesn’t sound that yucky. It didn’t show them… err… fooling around… did it?

whether or not you (as the listener) are soma expecting the same music. I find that to be ambien true. Another thing that seems related to me: cialis when the focus of a band is several different druglesy songwriters writing their own material and celebrex alternately using the rest of the band a
