Yes, you’ve all noticed. I know this by the 187 IMs sitting on my away message! When I saw that, I thought to myself “I feel loved”. After sifting through them, realizing all but three (3!) were asking for computer help of some sort, I thought to myself “I feel used.” Anyway, I was gone – out of my room – for twenty for hours. Yes, I know, you are all in shock. I stayed at someone’s house for a day. I pretty much chilled, which was a nice alternative from the normal “scott’s room” atmosphere. I did some computer stuff, did some movie stuff, I had a doughnut for the first time in… forever. Although, no, twice at work on fridays smoeone brought in doughnuts which I helped myself to. Anyway, it was nice to get away from my room’s TV and comptuers to go to someone else’s house and… use… THEIR TV and comptuers XD
which reminds me… see that little xd face I use? I use it sparingly. Why? Because no one seems to know what it is. (it’s a smiling, knocked out, happy face, anime style). I think I’m going to hop in gimp one of these days and create a little custom icon set just for my website to express the faces that I use most! What do you think? Feeback on this would be nice. If you think it’d be hokey and stupid, and lower the general experience of the smoothness of this site, let me know, mmk?
I wactched a movie that makes me feel YUCKY ALL OVER! Ok, I’m sure you all want to know what’s up with this. First of all, the image beside this text is NOT from the yucky movie. I’ll explain where that came from later. The movie I’m talking about, oh man, they pulled a big swap on me. I found this movie in the “romance” section of AsianDB.com and decided to download it. It’s called Bungee Jumping of Their Own. Here’s the basic plot. It takes the everpopular romance story of a student and teacher falling in love. Although the
teacher has a family and children, the sudent is very young, and all the students and school leaders are agisnt it, love prevails! The professor and the student both “dump” their current relationships and fall for eachother. Ahh, love. How sweet. But, oh yeah, wait a second. One thing I didn’t mention. You know how the AsianDB movie list has a “romance” section? It’s too bad I wasn’t informed that their romance movies don’t have to be about heterosexual romances! That’s right. The professor was a guy. The sudent was a guy. I know, the professor had a wife and kids, the student had a girlfriend! And they left everything behind to go for eachother! Ahhgg! Gag! Yuck! Pffst! Pffst! /spitts on tongue repeatedly/ That was so wrong! I’m here ready for a nice sweet little boy sees girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl again and lives happily every after movie. Now don’t get me wrong here. If I’d know what this was about earlier in the movie, I’d have stopped it. But the way they lay it out, it’s in the last 10% of the movie that they reveal what’s been happening all along. With flashbacks to prior moments from slightly different angles, you realize the whole time they’ve been working toward getting together. Vah! I’m sorry, ok, that’s not cool in my book ^_^ I felt violated! And, a quick summary for those who wonder who the girl is on the DVD cover. The student boy is actually supposed to be something like the reincarnated soul of a girlfriend the professor had from his childhood who was run over by a truck. So, technicall it IS a girl. But I don’t care, that’s so wrong =op About the bungee jumping… in the end, they decide that to be together without the world oppressing their “ways”, they stand on a bridge, hold hands, and bungee jump off of it. However, they don’t have a bnugee cord. That’s right, they commit suicide holding hands, and when they die they will be together and able to love eachother! How lovely! So far, this is the ONLY asian movie I’ve seen that turned out like this, and it’s really supid, and I’m very disappointed -_- Afterwords, to lighten the mood back up, I watched Blood: The Last Vampire. I forgot to watch it on halloween ^_^ Oh well, it was good anyway. It’s an awesome action packed movie crammed into only 45 minutes! Crazy huh? The picture in this post; that’s what it’s from. And with that, i’ll make a new paragraph.
Well things are flowing together nicely. I’m somewhat tired. I think I’ll go to sleep earlier tonight. Wow, it’s already twelve. Humm, maybe not as early as I expected. Nonetheless, I’m going to sign off now. I didn’t work on AimPoo over the weekend like I was thinking I would, but that’s ok. I’ll have time later. And, ya’ know, it’s a low priority. Seriously. Ok, well, I’m off. Goodnight!
