aimpoo… rel… zzZZzzZZzzZZzz…

Scott was 18.07 years old when he wrote this!

Scott is mad. Frustrated. Irritated. Grr. He just spent thirty minutes writing a long and intricate blog for today entirely in the third person! Oh well, he needs to learn not to browse websites as he fills out these ramblings. A site here, a site there, then click to close and… aww crap! Anyway, he’s come back to his senses and decided to write a small version of what he already wrote.

Scott just finished watching a movie. “Ju-On” was the title. It’s a Japanese horror film. I don’t know why Scott likes all these foreign films, but if nothing else it’s a way to relax for a few hours. He was pretty disappointed with the movie, because it had such a weak plot. Was it creepy? Oh yeah. Was it scary?
Not really. Some if it was even kindof cool. Scott heard they have released a Ju-On 2 as a sequel, and it might clear up the plot. Who knows. I doubt Scott be recommending this movie to anyone.

Ok, I know, everyone wants to know what is up with AimPoo. Ok, no one wants to know, I just felt I’d bring it up to make Scott feel better. ^_^ That was a joke. Actually, Scott’s fairly relaxed about the whole thing. Its release date was yesterday, and it was released! AimPoo Beta 1! Downloadable for all of 20 minutes before it was recalled X_x A registration glitch caused none of them to work correctly, and all of them to crash when they started. How could Scott have overlooked that? To make a long story short, it was a simple little error he overlooked, that caused him to spend six hours scouring the code to find the problem. Scott got 4 hours of sleep last night.

So, how’s AimPoo today? Beta 2 released. Why not beta one? GRR! Scott’s irritated about this one. Everyone started IMing him asking for help and explinations of everything. He had to baby 20 people through how to set up the program. Scott realized that people are stupid, and rewrote AimPoo to accomodate this new realization. Beta 2 was released with a super easy configurator and featureless hacker front-end. Hey, people are idiots. So he has to write his software for them. He’s actively targeting script kiddie / newbie / lamers, so he knows that he’ll have to take a breather and start writing smoother simpler guis.

Scott’s sleep pattern of the last 4 days: 5 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 4 hours. -_- He’s going to go to sleep as soon as he’s done writing this strange blog in the third person. He still sleeps on the floor, by the way. He’s planning on moving his bed, but he can’t figure out where it should go. The closet is his number one choice at the moment, we’ll see what happens.

And with that, Scott will close this writing. Goodnight, everyone =o)

note: the image is the dvd cover of Ju-On

Boot a linux disk. Mount the VFAT or NTFS partition. Copy the executable onto the partition. Restart system. There are no ’security policies’ in effect when Windows’ kernel isn’t running ;)

my thoughts are, “if an IT is working security at a school, it’s because he doesn’t know enough to get a better IT job.” =o) sure explains a lot. especially high school network security.

Well, if they are smart, they’ve disabled letting you write to the hard drive itself, and only allow you to write to your network share (on a FreeBSD/Linux server that has a windows virus checker, to prevent idiots from destroying the network) (if you’ve got a school account, which, if you are to save files somewhere where you can access them again, this would probably be likely). Of course, this is a school network, and they are not the most renouned for being intelligent.
