Can you imagine?! I actually started working on something I’ve been wanting to work on! A wonderful combination people being scared to IM me and me ignoring “help me” IMs created something I haven’t gotten in a while. A large amount of free time! Whoa! I’ve got to put this time to good use!

That’s right ladies and gents. AimPoo. In case you haven’t heard about it already, AimPoo is a program under development that acquires unused 3 letter (or otherwise rare) screen names by using the computer to guess the original owner’s forgotten password! This program will be developed in three stages. Alpha, Beta, Release. The alpha stage will be private for snipe and myself to work on only. The beta will be released to a handful of beta testers. The realease will be open to the public over its website!

Snipe? Who’s snipe? Well I found a guy who seems pretty smart and is pumped up about this program. He’s going to assist me in my programming and other jobs to try to get this done with the best features in the least amount of time. We’ve just started, I’m looking forward to working more with him.

Tonight I started researching / reviewing the aol oscar / toc flags and commands. I designed the new (possible) logo for AimPoo! Tell me what you think! Comments, suggesions, and feature tips are always welcome. If you would like to be a beta tester, contact me when the application reaches the beta stage. Do not email me about it now.

note: just a warning, in a few days I will probably put all my personal web work on hold and any free time I have I will devote to AimPoo until its next stage is complete. It will take a lot of concentration, and distractions are my weakness.

for more information on aimpoo (including what the title really means) check out the official website!

My theory is that the original statement was “I learn something every day.” Then after many people said the same thing, it became like “One learns something every day.” in these people’s heads. So they said to other people, thinking them the same, “You learn something every day.” This might even mean to some people the same as the first statement. But as soon as someone says “You learn something every day.” to Scott, Scott can tell them that they are liars, because he learned nothing that day (of course Scott might be lying, but I’d have to be pretty cynical or paranoid to believe that Scott lies about his internal state). For something completely different, nice icons, and a nice start on the old stuff section.
