yet another day at school

Today’s writing is a little different than the previous handfull. You may have noticed the odd seeming timestamp on this message. That’s right, I’m writing it at 6:12pm. Actually, I just walked in the door, dinner’s almost ready, and I can’t think of much to do now, so I’d might as well write.

Let’s see, I have a lot of stuff I really want to do, and I might actually get some of it done tonight. First off, I want to get my leeching machine up and running. Not only so I can start downloading movies and software again, but also so I can finish writing it’s respective tutorials. I think they’ll be a big hit =o) I told a lot of peopel about this one tutorial the past few days and got a ton of interest. “Step by step instructions on how to set up a file downloading server that adds up the download speed of kazaa, bortorrent, edonkey, directconnect, soulseek, and more to give you one incredibly fast downloading file? When will the tutorial be ready?!” [Scott feels pressured]

/eating dinner/

mmMMmmmMMmmm. Dinner was good. Moving right along, today a conversation was spoken that involved TV, and someone asked “how much does Scott watch tv?” I thought it was interesting, because I interjected in and said “not very much” and later (walking home) pondered the quetsion. TV, by the definition of a live feed from a tv station, doesn’t at all fit what I do. I (by this definition) watch almost zero TV! I have a tv in my room –a nice one. What do I use it for? It’s hooked up to a computer that does not even get TV, rather it plays movies. I spend a few hours a week watching movies (usually foreign films) but when it comes to watching TV, I really dont watch much at all

Classes today were good, I guess. My day starts with music appreciation, the guy’s probably one of the best teachers in the sense of “dang he makes it easy to get an A in this class”. He throuroughly covers everything multiple times, you’d have to be a total idiot NOT to get an A in this class ^_^ After that, my Comp II guy is starting to turn into one of my fav. teachers, he’s so random and different seeming, you can never tell what he’s going to do next. Therefore, I find myself paying close attention in this class, and it works well both ways. US Gvmnt is probably my worst class. Professor walks in, lectures for a solid 2 horus, and walks out. Pages and pages and pages of notes are generated every day, and on top of that this guy’s speaking style is sooo boring. I think I could make some money selling pillows outside his class door. The 2 hour lunch is ok. Tuesdays I get to meet up with Phil, an old friend, and that takes some of the boringness out of it. After that, I’ll usually hang around the cafeteria and find a spot near the TV where I can sit and watch. It’s funny, in the cafeteria there are 2 tvs. One of them is on the left, which plays CNN, another on the right, which plays FOX news ^_^ I don’t know if they did it on purpose, but it’s kinda funny to see the leaning left-side democratic CNN (Clinton News Network) and the leaning right-side republican FOX tv =o) Ok, well, I’d best be off.
